Dr. Yi is a clinical fellow in Radiation Oncology at Shanghai Chest Hospital. She earned her MD in Oncology from Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University, and completed her residency at Fudan University Shanghai Cancer Center. Her clinical expertise centers on the treatment of lung and esophageal cancers, as well as other thoracic malignancies.
Her research focuses on the gut microbiome and its interaction with cancer therapy. She investigates how microbial profiles can predict treatment efficacy and toxicity - particularly in patients receiving chemo-radiotherapy or immunotherapy, with the goal of personalizing therapeutic strategies. Her work in this field has been published in leading journals such as Clinical Cancer Research and Experimental Hematology & Oncology.
