Zach is a third-year medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a research fellow in the laboratories of Luke Pike and Chad Vanderbilt at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He leads the development of computational histopathology tools to improve prognostication and inform treatment selection for patients with brain metastases.
Prior to medical school, Zach studied computational neuroscience at Princeton University and spent two years conducting computational liquid biopsy research at Penn Medicine, where he used machine learning to investigate how cell-free DNA methylation patterns relate to survival in patients with glioblastoma.
