Dr. Zhihua Liu is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. With a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Liu’s research focuses on advancing imaging techniques to improve cancer treatment outcomes. Her current work includes developing advanced resting-state fMRI brain network analysis methods to quantify radiation-induced brain injuries and applying Heterogeneity Diffusion Imaging (HDI) for early assessment of brain tumor treatment responses. Dr. Liu is dedicated to integrating cutting-edge technology and research to enhance the precision and effectiveness of radiation therapy in oncology.
