Zoia Shepil, MD
My name is Zoia. I was born in Luhansk, studied at Medical University and started my career as a radiation oncologist there.
I have worked in Luhansk Regional Oncology Center since 1996. In 2014 the war came to our country and my life was changed, I had to evacuate from territory occupied by Russia. Judging now that might be not bad turn in my life, at least profesionaly. In Kyiv Regional Oncology Dispensary where I work now, I got familiar with EBRT exploiting linear accelerator with VMAT capability, also since 2016 I treat patient with CT-based brachytherapy on MicroSelectron V3.
I am trying to learn more in profession and I achieved something, but the biggest achievement in my life I still consider being able to start from scratch in the capital of my country - Ukraine, after being forced by occupiers to live in my own house in Luhansk.
As my hobby I do yoga and like to travel.
