Adam Mueller, MD, PhD

I am a radiation oncology physician scientist with a focus on developing novel combinatorial treatments to enhance the therapeutic index of radiation and other cytotoxic therapies through targeting compensatory mechanisms by which tumors develop therapeutic resistance. I have a parallel interest in advancing clinical research through examination of cutting-edge technological delivery of radiation therapy, as well as combining targeted therapies with locoregional cytotoxic treatments. My primary long term research interests lie in the study of therapeutic resistance in cancer, particularly pancreatic cancer, and the discovery of targetable mechanisms by which response to cancer therapies can be enhanced.
