Alejandro Bertolet is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at Harvard Medical School and Director of Radiopharmaceutical Dosimetry at Massachusetts General Hospital, where he leads research on computational modelling and radiation effects in cancer therapy. His work focuses on bridging physics, biology, and clinical applications to advance precision radiotherapy and theranostics. His current research integrates theoretical modelling, radiation biology, and artificial intelligence approaches to improve dosimetry and treatment personalization in radionuclide therapy and particle therapy. He has received several international distinctions, including the Jack Fowler Award from the Radiation Research Society (2022) and the John D. Boice Young Investigator Award from the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (2025).
