Alisa Rybkin, MD, MPH
I am a 4th year MD/MPH candidate at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University, completing a research year under the guidance of Dr. Nancy Lee at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As an undergraduate, I had joined Dr. Lees research team to investigate proton therapy both prospectively and retrospectively. Since then, I have continued my commitment to the field with intentions to become a resident in radiation oncology in the upcoming application cycle. My clinical and research interests lie in head and neck cancer, specifically in de-escalation. I am also interested in the policy and systems behind cancer care, which comprises my MPH thesis. Finally, I am eager to take advantage of opportunities in global oncology to expand on prior experience studying radiation oncology capacity for treatment of breast and gynecologic cancers in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
