Kentucky native and current MS4 at the University of Louisville School of Medicine (ULSOM) applying for a radiation oncology residency position this upcoming cycle. Andrew is a collaborative, enthusiastic, and personable medical student committed to becoming a well-rounded and impactful radiation oncologist. He has been involved in a variety of diverse research projects, and is excited to present findings from a ULSOM clinical trial evaluating effective prevention of radiation induced pneumonitis. Andrew has also worked extensively with curriculum reform at ULSOM as a student representative on the Educational Program Committee, and has a passion for biodesign and medical innovation. Interests include CNS malignancies, head/neck malignancies, thoracic malignancies, and palliative radiation. Aside from medicine, Andrew appreciates all things food/coffee/spirit related, which he attributes to his Kentucky-based bourbon and Lebanese family.
