Beatrice Manduchi, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health. She is an internationally-trained speech-language pathologist with clinical and academic training from the University of Milan, Trinity College Dublin, and the University of Toronto, where she earned her PhD in Rehabilitation Science. Her clinical and research focus is on the assessment and management of swallowing disorders in oncology, particularly in head and neck cancer. She has formal training in qualitative research methods, implementation science, and outcomes measurement, and she has led international efforts to standardize dysphagia outcome reporting in clinical trials. She is the recipient of a CPRIT-funded postdoctoral fellowship and has published extensively on dysphagia, patient-reported outcomes, and clinical decision-making in cancer care. She has contributed to multi-institutional research initiatives across North America and Europe and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to advance technology-driven, scalable approaches to improve dysphagia care in oncology populations.
