Dr. Thayer-Freeman is a 1st year therapeutic medical physics resident at the University of Utah's Huntsman Cancer Institute. He completed his MS and PhD at the University of Kentucky where his research focus was on reevaluating the radiation sensitivity of cervical cancer using a combination of in vitro analysis and clinical outcome data. His current research interests are radiobiology, radiobiological modeling, and using artificial intelligence to aid in making more patient specific predictions of radiation response.
