Craig Grossman, MD, PhD, MS
I am an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Hillman Cancer Center.
Clinically, I specialize in genitourinary (GU) and gynecology (GYN) cancers, thereby providing both external beam radiation and brachytherapy (prostate HDR and LDR brachytherapy, gynecologic HDR brachytherapy) to patients living in the greater Pittsburgh region. I also treasure the opportunity to provide patients with palliative RT in order to improve their quality of life. I am a member of several national committees (ASTRO Annual Meeting Education Committee and ASTRO Annual Meeting Abstract Review Committee; American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) Standards, Quality, & Safety Council; American Radium Society (ARS) Gynecology Appropriate Use Criteria Committee; and the NRG Oncology Genitourinary Core Committee and NRG Oncology Gynecologic Cancer Working Group). Academically, I am interested in measures to modulate RT early and late toxicities, sexual dysfunction resulting from cancer treatment, and endeavors to improve patient education and satisfaction.
