David Roberge MD

Dr Roberge is Full Professor at the University of Montreal and adjunct professor at McGill University. He is a residency graduate of McGill and a fellow of Stanford and St-Jude Children’s research hospital. He currently practices at CHUM in Montreal. He holds and has held numerous leadership positions in North America. He is currently past president of the Canadian Association of Radiation Oncology (CARO) and co-chair of the CCTG CNS oncology group.
His research has spanned the treatment of benign disease, sarcoma, lymphoma, tumor treating fields, cancer of the young and brain tumors — especially as relates to radiosurgery. His current outlook is on organization of care, imaging, FLASH, technology evaluation and machine learning. He has published more than 170 peer-reviewed papers and various other academic work, including co-editing the 3rd edition of “Radiation Therapy of Benign Diseases”.
