Ellen Ruan is a fourth-year medical student at Midwestern University – Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, applying to radiation oncology residency in the 2026 Match. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Arizona State University where she studied Biological Sciences and Data Science. During medical school, she pursued research in radiation oncology at Mayo Clinic Arizona. She is interested in multidisciplinary oncologic care, novel radiation therapy technologies, and clinical research related to social access to radiation therapy.
