Jane Zheng is a third-year medical student at Drexel University College of Medicine with an interest in pursuing a career in radiation oncology. She is a recipient of the NIH Cancer Research Education Excellence in Radiotherapy Grant and currently conducts research in the Department of Radiation Oncology and Molecular Sciences at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine under the mentorship of Dr. Brandi R. Page. Her current research focuses on the readability, understandability, and accuracy of large language model-generated patient education materials, with an emphasis on their potential application in radiation oncology and cancer care. Her work has been presented at the American College of Radiation Oncology (ACRO) and now American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO).
