Dr. Grossheim is a Radiation Oncologist who currently works in private practice in Washington and Idaho. Prior to going to medical school at the University of Wisconsin, she was an engineer and Business Team Leader in the X-Ray Tube Department at General Electric Medical Systems. She went on to get a Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering from Marquette University and more recently, in Healthcare Delivery Science from Dartmouth College. After graduating from residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, she was an Assistant Professor at MCW prior to joining private practice at the West Michigan Cancer Center, where she was the Chief of Radiation Oncology for 8 years. She has served on the Board of the West Michigan chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation, was chairwoman of the cancer committee and part of the executive leadership team at the West Michigan Cancer Center. She relocated to Idaho 8 years ago to be closer to family. She has a particular interest in international health and has been involved in several projects in Honduras, Nepal, Guatemala, and most recently in Cameroon, Africa, where she is part of a team that is developing a radiation oncology program at Mbingo Baptist Hospital. She is currently a member of the ASTRO International and History committees.
