Mr. Philipp Klepzig is a resident physician at the Medical Clinic Wilhelmshaven in Germany and serves as a Major in the German Armed Forces Medical Corps. Previously, he completed residency training at the Military Hospital Westerstede, Medical Center Frankenberg, and a diabetes specialty practice in Bad Zwischenahn. His clinical focus encompasses internal medicine, emergency medicine, and radiation treatment.
Mr. Klepzig obtained his medical degree from Leipzig University in 2020 and subsequently earned certification in emergency medicine in 2024. He is currently pursuing an MD research degree at Hannover Medical School and an Executive MBA for Physicians at SRH Fernhochschule – The Mobile University. He is also a member of the German Society for Radiation Oncology (DEGRO).
His research focuses on low-dose external beam radiation therapy (LD-EBRT) for benign diseases, with particular interest in outcome prediction and treatment optimization. Mr. Klepzig is the author of a recent publication in the International Journal of Radiation Oncology, Biology, Physics, investigating predictive factors in low-dose external beam radiation therapy for painful hip syndromes.
