Dr. Qiao is Professor and Vice Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at The First Hospital of China Medical University, Shenyang, China. She received advanced academic training at Stanford University, the University of Wisconsin and Yamanashi Medical University. She has been recognized as a Distinguished Young Medical Expert of Liaoning Province for her contributions to radiation oncology.
Dr. Qiao's research focuses on the regulation of radiosensitivity in head and neck cancers, with particular interests in precision radiotherapy and translational radiation biology. She has served as Principal Investigator for projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has received multiple provincial and ministerial research grants. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed SCI-indexed publications in the fields of radiation oncology and head and neck cancer.
In addition to her research, Dr. Qiao is actively involved in national academic organizations. She serves on the committees of the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the Chinese Medical Association, the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, and the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology. She is also a Young Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Cancer Prevention and Treatment and an Editorial Board Member of the Liaoning Medical Journal.
Clinically, Dr. Qiao specializes in the management of head and neck malignancies, particularly nasopharyngeal carcinoma, oropharyngeal carcinoma, and central nervous system tumors. She is committed to integrating innovative research with personalized radiation therapy to improve patient outcomes.
