Ryan Davis, MD, is a senior radiation oncology resident at City of Hope in Duarte, California. His clinical interests include gynecologic, genitourinary, and head and neck malignancies, with a particular interest in brachytherapy. During residency, he has developed experience in both low-dose-rate and high-dose-rate prostate brachytherapy as well as intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy for gynecologic cancers. His research focuses on the clinical implementation and outcomes of radiation therapy, including prostate hypofractionation, rectal spacer technologies, and interstitial brachytherapy for gynecologic malignancies. Dr. Davis is also actively involved in resident education and curriculum development, including teaching in radiation oncology imaging, treatment planning, and contouring. His career interests center on broad clinical radiation oncology practice, incorporation of brachytherapy and advanced radiation techniques, and participation in collaborative clinical and translational research.
