Sachin Jhawar, MD, MSCI is an Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at The Ohio State University in the College of Medicine.
His current clinical focus is on breast cancer, and he currently serves as the Director of Breast Radiation Oncology.
As a member of the Translational Therapeutics Program at the OSUCCC – James, he interested in clinical and translational research related to the study of breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and cutaneous malignancies.
Among his translational research interests are the interplay between the human microbiome, cancer, and response to therapy as well as the development of novel uses of artificial intelligence in the delivery of clinical care.
He leads multiple clinical trials at OSU with a focus on the optimization of radiation delivery and treatment de-escalation.
Dr. Jhawar has authored or co-authored publications in such peer-reviewed journals as Journal of Clinical Oncology, JAMA Oncology, and Cancer Discovery.
