session DESCRIPTION

This interactive session will explore intersectional, community-engaged cancer care through two case-based small-group discussions. Participants will examine how identity, housing instability, confidentiality concerns, prior healthcare trauma, and mistrust can affect cancer care and survivorship. The session will offer practical strategies for inclusive communication, trauma-informed workflows, navigation support, referral pathways, and partnerships with LGBTQIA2+ community organizations. This event is in-person only and will not be livestreamed or available onDemand.
