session DESCRIPTION
Atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor (ATRT) is a very rare CNS tumor usually occurring in children aged 3 years and younger. Malignant rhabdoid tumors (MRT) commonly start in the kidneys of infants and toddlers, with an average age of diagnosis of 15 months. The session will provide an overview on current therapy of these lesions.
learning objectives
- Discuss the role of radiotherapy in treating MRT and ATRT.
- Detail new systemic therapies for these lesions.
