session DESCRIPTION
The session is designed to provide residents, trainees and junior faculty with information on grant writing. It will provide educational information followed by an interactive breakout session. Topics will include review criteria, crafting specific aims, developing a research strategy, and revising and resubmitting grants. Breakout sessions will be divided by topic area and allow participants to get specific feedback on their ideas.

- Analyze strengths, weaknesses and pitfalls of writing grant proposals.
- Discuss the key elements of a grant proposal.
- Understand the revision and resubmission process.
